Neither steams nor creases, February 22, 2005 By Rosie Fukuda (Fullerton, CA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Black & Decker C520 Gizmo Steam 'N Crease 3-in-1 Iron (Kitchen) That's right it neither steams nor creases and it barely irons. I live in a small apartment and was looking for a space saving item that would fulfill all needs; space saving, steaming, creasing and ironing. The steamer sprays water all over your clothing and the creasing device doesn't keep enough tension to crease a neat line. I tried using it with the recommended fabric brush which only collected water and did nothing to improve results.

If you have plenty of time to burn this is the perfect item for you. It does spit steam everywhere but that's about it. The steam does little to remove wrinkles from cotton. In order to get the steam out you have to keep pressing a button which is awkward. If you just wanted to blow pointless steam all over a shirt on a hanger (while you travel perhaps) then it might work after an hour or so. One more thing I should tell you about this cute but ineffective device after about three good burts of steam you have to add more water.

I wish I had read the reviews for this before buying it locally. Now my shirt is WET and wrinkled. Hooray! Does not steam. Does not... do... anything worthwhile. I am taking it straight back to the store. Does not perform how I expected it to.
