The Creaser Attachment Is a Huge Plus, July 8, 2012 By This review is from: Conair Professional Fabric Steamer (Misc.) I have used the same Conair Steamer for about 10 years. It is still going strong. I run vinegar through it once every 3 years or so. Mine is almost identical to this one; this has pants hangers mine does not have.
Steamers make such quick work of 'ironing'. I LOVE having one. I like my Conair enough to review here, even though I am looking for an iron today, not a replacement steamer. I bought my last iron 15 years ago (Rowenta), and it has gotten light use because of the heavy use the steamer gets.
This Conair model has features that I would look for in a replacement steamer:
1. The creaser attachment is wonderful. Being able to put a sharp crease in pants, make cuffs sharp, sharpen up the hem of a linen blouse or make sharp hems on sleeves requires this attachment. I use this attachment almost every time I steam. To save time, I steam 10-20 garments, which takes minutes, then attach the creaser attachment and do all the hems, cuffs, seams... Read more
