I have tried cleaning the machine with no improvement. Also the hose is very stiff which makes it hard to maneuver. Poor design, cheap materials.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Works great. Beats ironing hands-down., March 3, 2012 By This review is from: Conair Gs33r Compact Fabric Steamer (Housewares) I just bought this a few hours ago. I hate ironing. I use standard business button-down shirts daily.

I would not recommend it for drapes or silks, as the water may stain some delicate fabric. For the price, it was not worth returning, hence, you get what you pay for. This is not worth $25 and will do $5 worth of steaming. Buy it if you are on a budget, but do not expect performance anywhere near a commercial quality steamer.
